Common Questions

I was ask why decision-making seems so illusive to so many. I responded by saying if our schools could teach functional decision-making, a simply 1,2,3 approach, we would be prepard with a life-long tool for success.

First acknowledge the truth of the question, 2. evaluate your options & then 3.choose the best option that moves you toward your target of what you really want. It's simple. Dysfuntional Decision Making never has a target and is consequence driven, i.e. I better do this because if I don't, this may happen. See the difference between functional and dysfunctional?

Creating your target is the key. Ask yourself what is it, job, relationship, etc, what you really want. Be honest with yourself. Don't be afraid to dream big. This is the start of creating a path towards what you want. All decisions we make either move us towards that target or away from it. How does that feel? Can you see hows your dearms have been smashed out of fear?

It's really a simply equation that could be taught to children in grammar school.....
